Recently, more and more people are turning to the construction of so-called prefabricated houses or villas with steel load-bearing structure. These houses are not new to the Spanish architectural tradition, but were forgotten during the years of widespread use of reinforced concrete and bricks for basic building materials. Today, albeit at a slow pace, more and more single family villas and houses in Costa del Sol -Estepona, Marbella, Calahonda, Mijas, Fuengirola, Torremolinos or Malaga are being designed and built with metal columns and beams. Kogerdesignbuild prepares individual projects for steel prefabricated houses according to specific recuirements of the cliens and performs their turnkey construction in Marbella and Costa del Sol region. At the same time, our portfolio is growing with ready-made standard projects of prefabricated steel houses, which can be purchased at preferential prices and at the same time be built by us in Spain. We have also paid special attention to low-budget steel houses. We have prepared for people who are interested in building for themselves and their family a prefabricated house in Costa del Sol a brief presentation of the advantages and features of building such a home.
What is a steel prefabricated house.
Unlike brick houses, which rely on reinforced concrete for strength and durability, this house uses steel beams and columns to ensure the structural strength of the building. The architecture can be classical or modern with a contemporary design. The enclosing external walls, as well as the internal partition walls for dividing the spaces are made of light wooden panels, OSB plasterboard, plywood or thermal panels. The roof can be sloping (single-sloped, double-sloped, four-sloped or multi-sloped) with tiles (concrete, ceramic or bitumen) or stone slabs. As well as the roof of the prefabricated house can be flat. The facade layout of steel prefabricated houses is diverse and is not limited to the materials used on the market in Costa del Sol – Estepona, Marbella, Calahonda, Mijas, Fuengirola, Torremolinos or Malaga, Spain. The finish can be mineral plaster, wood paneling, siding, stone cladding or composite panels. In general, the steel structure allows everything, although the most authentic for Spain is the white plaster, the visible wooden structure, the wooden cladding and natural stone.
